Mooresville, N.C. resident Ann McLaughlin gives her dog Diego a hug during a walk at Stumpy Creek Park on Friday afternoon. Diego, a rescue dog, is the inspiration for McLaughlin’s personal quest to walk 300 miles to raise funds for Noah’s Ark, a non-profit Children's Home and Animal Rehabilitation Center in Locust, Ga. The Walk will begin on Sunday April 19, 2009 at 7AM. The "Start" Location is Saint Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Rd., Mooresville, NC, 28117.
